This park is located in Auburn center. Birthplace or both the man and his invention, liquid fueled rocket engines. Entrance to the park is a bit hidden behind the fire station. You will find a plaque and a Polaris rocket. The Polaris an example or the implementation of Goddard's invention. Also behind the fire station but closer to the road is a 1:1 scale replica or Goddard's original rocket. In a place where space artifacts and moments don't come quite as quick as sat Florida this should be on any space geeks tour of Massachusetts.

You've got to park at the Fire Department to get here. The park itself was nice, they have a model of Goddard's original rocket there which is cool. I wish the fountain had been working, but otherwise nifty.
