My husband and I had service done on a Jeep we had purchased at a dealer nearby to DT Automotive. Paul Marengo the owner was great! Upfront, honest, and trustworthy concerning the repairs that were needed. When the service was done, Paul came out and explained all work performed. I wish all businesses had his work ethic. As a business owner myself and the daughter of a long time business owner, I can appreciate his work ethic. It was a breath of fresh air to know that when we left his shop, we were confident that all work was done and our vehicle was safe for our family. The young ladies that work in the office were very professional and friendly also. We are not local to their shop BUT I can tell you we will definitely return for service needed on our vehicles. Word of mouth can be your best or worst advertisement. I have talked up DT Automotive to many many people. All positive! Great job Paul to you and your friendly staff!
Only good thing is a friendly manager yet speaks with vague details. Notably because the work performed on the car was menial and car returned with new scratches and scuffs. Upon evaluation by a highly rated Subaru auto body, it became evident that DT takes shortcuts, leading to future problems. Unreliable. Days between calls about my cars status. Lux Auto really drags them down, seems like reasonable people coerced by rude salesmen.
I've been using them for about a year now on 3 vehicles. Work is done reliably and at a good price. There's been a couple occasions where they were able to re-use existing parts that I thought were defective, thus saving me money. It's a level of honesty that I have found lacking at previous repair shops including dealerships. Staff is also friendly.
D.T.Automotive inspected a Ford shuttle bus for me that I was considering buying. I am so glad I brought it to them for their professional knowledge of Ford mechanics. By paying $89, they have saved me $10,000 in headache. A seemingly perfect bus have had an accident that the dealer did not tell me about, and would have cost me $4,000 in repairs. D.T. was fast, but thorough, gave me good advice. I loved my experience with them; hope you will too.

I have not had a situation where I had to go back on a repair work that was done. Their work ethic is superb.
