In the middle of 1000 mile roadtrip, any breakdown is bound to be scary. We were headed down the Mass Pike when we pulled off for gas at the station next door to Brooks Motors. A passing mechanic noticed a large pool of liquid seeping out from undernearth my 2005 Taurus. He said it looked like a burst hose and he could get someone to look at it in 30 minutes. We took his word for it, went to lunch, and they repaired what was eventually found to be a burst hose clamp/connector and we were back on the Pike in a couple hours. Mechanics and owner were courteous and explained all the details to us. Could not have asked for better luck or better service. If we had run out of coolant on the Pike it could have been the end of my engine or worse.
I just recently bought my Volvo S60 from this dealership. At first it was a great running car until the dashboard lights went out, their mechanic told us it was a fuse but it turned out to be a cluster problem in the computer. They soon got tired of us complaining about the problem and turned their heads. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM THIS USED CAR LOT. If the car has a problem to begin with they won't fix it for their customer.
I bought a 02 Volvo S40 a little over a year ago and have not had one problem. I love my car, and the service we received. I have recommended a few friends who were looking for a good dependable used car. I personally will be returning after the holidays for a car for my husband. I don't know these people at all I went there a year ago spent $700 on a car had not one problem with it at all I had a battery problem at one point he said swing by and I'll put one in his mechanic came right out and put one in I am actually going down there next week hoping to buy another car for $1,000 or under if I have to spend $2,000 spend 2000 he's people know what they're doing they tell you everything about it this man obviously has nothing to hide And as far as sitting in his chair recline back wouldn't you if he had to do if you had to deal with some of the idiots out there that put up stupid comments over chump change that they spend on a car seriously now think about what you're saying I'm not calling anyone in particular an idiot but there are a lot of idiots out there you're spending $1,000 on a car what do you expect these people are kind courteous people unless you nag them which is probably what happened to most of the people that I'm not happy I understand things happen and they should honor it but this man if he didn't honor it then there had to be another situation going on someone is being ignorant and it's not mr. Brooks
They did me very dirty won't fix engine problem that was there when i bought the car.but didn't notice it till after the sale.They acted like they knew about it when i called to complain about it .now the engine will more than likely have to be rebuilt.I will bring them to court . The car also had four recalls on it which is illegal to sell a car with out fixing them first. Don't buy a car from them they do not stand by there word and will screw any one over.
