Edit: The clutch is also completely worn out. Nice going motorsports international.
I bought a pre-owned bike from here three months back. I put 300 miles on the bike and started having issues. I was assured by my sales rep that the bike I purchased from Motorsports International was in perfect running condition when I bought it. They said it was checked by their technicians and given the "okay". Turns out that the pre-owned bike I was sold had an exhaust leak, dry rotted intake boots, and a gummed carburetor. With some back and forth with the general manger, Jeremy, I ultimately came to the decision to go to Barnstorm Cycles and Jeeps in Spencer MA instead- For all those issues to be fixed at barnstorm, it was ~$80 less AND I know I'm getting quality service. If Motorsports gave my bike the "okay" that had all these problems , I wouldn't trust their service. Save your money, DON'T buy a pre-owned bike here OR get your bike serviced here. I gave Motorsports a chance despite hearing bad reviews from colleagues; and here I am. Don't make the same mistake I did. Save your money and go to Barnstorm, or Latour's for that matter, for SERVICE and SALES.
Just went here and the costumer service is horrible for the parts department.. We stood there for a good 20 minutes and the lady behind the counter never asked if we needed help, she just stood there looking not offering to help at all.... When you work at a place and you have costumers always ask if they need anything not stare at them and ignore them.
Amazing customer service. I am looking to purchase my first bike and the people here have a way of just inviting you in. They don't make you scared to sit on a bike and most importantly they don't pressure you into anything. They seem to tell you how it is and are willing to find the answer to any question you may have. I spoke with Eric and Jeremy and both of them went above expectations. I absolutely will be doing business here again and again.
Bought a bike from them in '05 and have used them for parts and service a few times over the years. I've always found them to be honest and easy to deal with. It's a big dealership so sometimes it is hard to get someone's attention when you need it, but that's not always a bad thing. It's nice to take your time checking out the inventory without being pestered by the sales staff.
Eric (sales) is extremely knowledgeable and has a great common sense approach; listens to what you want, takes his time with you, and helps you to consider alternatives without pressure. I would rate him and the whole sales experience 5 stars but Motorsports itself is a bit pricey. I believe you get what you pay for so I have been back for other bikes while wishing I was paying less for them...
